Event Description
In this two-part series designed for first-year Engineering Ph.D. students, you will create your individual professional development plan.

Why is creating a plan so important? Having a structured plan and incremental goals aligned with your academic milestones has been shown to increase productivity and satisfaction through graduate school. his session will assist you in beginning the process of reflecting, exploring, and developing your plan aligned with your goals through this early phase of your graduate studies. As you move through your graduate studies, your interests and goals will naturally evolve and therefore you may need multiple mentors and resources to support you along the way. We will explore ImaginePhD as one possible tool to track your goals and progress. Sign-up for your free ImaginePhD account.

Lunch will be provided. You must be able to commit to both sessions.
